A yet-to-be determined number of policemen have been killed earlier today in Kaduna by gunmen suspected to be members of the islamic sect, Boko Haram.
According to a police source who witnessed the raid, the gunmen attacked the Kajuru Police Station, situated in Maraban Kajuru, Kajuru local government area along Kaduna-Kachia Road.
The area which is in southern part of Kaduna State, is said to be predominantly resided by Christians.

The area, according to the source witnessed heavy gun fire that overwhelmed the policemen on duty.
Kaduna State Police Commissioner, Olufemi Adenaike is said to be on his way to the scene of the attack to assess damages and verify the number of officers killed or injured.
