The controversy over Buhari’s health status continues to rage. In the wake of the outrage on social media on Workers Day with Nigerians asking #WhereIsBuhari, the First Lady tweeted the president’s health is not “as bad as it is being perceived”
This inspite of the fact that we hadn’t caught a glimpse of the president in two weeks and he had missed FEC meetings. Apparently realising that their entreaties for prayers and insistence that the president is fine were not catching fire, President Buhari was photographed after Juma’at prayers at the Mosque today. There’s also a video of him greeting worshippers as he walked out of the Mosque.

Nigerians reacted to the news thus:
Breaking: @NGRPresident @MBuhari just passed me to enter the Mosque inside Villa. He walked briskly. People HE IS ALIVE and doing well!

They wish him dead but God in His infinite mercy decide to preserve him. Let the evil doers & prophets of doom repent @Laurestar @PhilipObin pic.twitter.com/2FiAD52eAg

All of those who said Buhari is dead, have you all seen a video of him at today's Juma'at?

Before you rejoice, consider:
I need to go see an optometrist cos the video I saw showed sth else. https://t.co/2NyRAx1DD3

So Buhari coming for Jumaat service has now become a breaking news ? Why are we so shameless ? WHY? https://t.co/vn2aILb36w

If video of Buhari at Mosque is meant to prove he is fit enough to work, it also proves he has been dodging work for no reason. Impeachable.

"He's healthy! He came for prayers?" Why did he miss FEC? That's the gathering he is elected and paid to attend.
— orwelliANDYstopia (@andyRoidO) May 5, 2017
Independent of the first question: "is he well enough to work?" There is a second: "is he doing his job?" A "no" to EITHER is impeachable.

Sighting MB in Mosque today & Cubana tonight is grounds not for hailers to exult, but for critics to read meaning into his OFFICIAL absences
— orwelliANDYstopia (@andyRoidO) May 5, 2017
"He is at the Mosque" is not a satisfactory answer to our question: WHERE IS @MBuhari?
— orwelliANDYstopia (@andyRoidO) May 5, 2017
Sigh.
