Apparently, apart from blatant racism which is alive and kicking despite what Kendall Jenner’s Pepsi advert may have misled you into thinking, there’s also ‘white tears’.
What’s white tears? Kelechi Okafor, a dance instructor and actress defines it as an attack on black women by white women when they (white women) resort to using tears to get their way. The idea is that black women are more aggressive, therefore they must be the ones who hurt the white women.
But how manipulative is this, though? Kelechi relays her experience:
Last night, a WW who attends my class, tried to use white tears to attack me.
I didn't let it happen.

That dynamic is so unsettling.
The way even as victims, we're supposed to coddle whiteness and it's perpetual state of infancy…smh— Cali ?? (@Caligraphist) April 8, 2017
Good for @kelechnekoff ! Privileged people love to use passive aggressive behavior against marginalized groups

I know where this starts. In Kinder. I don't allow it. If you are crying for attention you can just keep on, because you are getting any.
