Every day on the Nigerian Internet, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social issues, etc. Sometimes, they are just downright ridiculous. We make it our job to take down the names of these noisemakers.

As you go out today, please dress decently. Cover up your tattoos, cover your head if your haircut is extra. Don’t make yourself a target for the police. You know how you dress is how you will be addressed so dress properly to avoid stories that touch or better still

There is nothing empowering about a statement employing slut-shaming, using slavery innuendos and eliciting internalized misogyny in order to make its point.
