Minister of Environment, Amina Mohammed has thanked President Muhammadu Buhari, and U.N. Secretary General, Antonio Guterres for the trust and confidence they have in her.
Mohammed, who said this on Thursday in a statement following her appointment by Guterres as the new deputy UN Secretary General promised to continue working for the rights of the poor, especially women and the youth.
Buhari in his congratulatory message, said Amina Mohammed’s appointment brought him honour.
