The predicted violence is underway at the Bayelsa supplementary election between Seriake Dickson of the Peoples Democratic Party and Timipre Sylva of the All Progressives Congress.
While voting is underway in a few parts of the Southern Ijaw LGA, Ogbia and Brass areas have registered violence, ballots snatching and many other irregularities.
Cases of party agents disrupting the voting process at polling booths were also captured on video.
According to Nigerians on social media, Southern Ijaw is in the ‘dark ages’.
