Even as the Federal Government of Nigeria has made its intentions to dialogue with the rampaging faceless militant group, Niger Delta Avengers (NDA), a new faceless group has come out to warn the government against such actions.
The government’s agreement to dialogue is in a bid to stop the rampant destruction of strategic pipelines and oil installation which has drastically reduced the nation’s oil output.
The new group however, named Voice Delta with Twitter handle @MangroveDelta does not believe that the government should dialogue with the NDA.
The group, through its Twitter handle weaved a web of conspiracy around the failure of security forces to secure the arrest of former militant boss, Government Ekpemupolo, the recent spate of pipeline bombings and the formation of the Niger Delta Avengers, the arrest and ongoing trial of Patrick Akpobolokemi and the decision of the government to negotiate.
