Another set of protesters demand release of Patience Jonathan’s $15m

A group of women under the aegis of the Voice of Niger Delta Women on Thursday stormed the office of the EFCC, demanding that former First Lady, Patience Jonathan’s account be unfrozen.

Recall that over 100 women had besieged the Federal High Court Lagos yesterday, making the same request.

Thursday’s protest saw the women decked in black attires and carrying placards accusing the EFCC of witch hunting.

The EFCC had ordered the freezing of some bank accounts belonging to Mrs. Jonathan over alleged money laundering.
