We’re not interested in fighting but it’s commendable of Governor Ambode to call out the Federal Government’s sluggishness with regard to attempts by the Lagos State Government to make certain infrastructural moves. Of course, former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola has responded to the claims, but he says little (if anything at all) to undercut Ambode’s points, so the Lagos State Governor retains his #1 position.
Elsewhere, Imo Governor Rochas Okorocha enters the top 20. Okorocha, a few days ago, acknowledged the age disparity in Nigerian governance. He went on to say that no one older than 50 will succeed him as Governor of Imo State. This is a commendable, if lofty claim. No word yet on exactly how he intends to make this happen, though.
Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State also rises into the top 5 for maintaining his actions in calling out the ridiculousness that has been the Federal Government’s handling of President Buhari’s time away.
