Barcelona, Dortmund knocked out of the UEFA Champions League

Italian champions, Juventus FC have knocked out Spanish side, Barcelona from the UEFA Champions League.

Juventus provided a defensive masterclass in the second leg to secure a place in the semi-final with a 3-0 aggregate.

Two goals from Paulo Dybala and one from Giorgio Chiellini proved vital as The Old Lady outclassed Barcelona 3-0 in Turin in the fist leg.

French side, Monaco are also through to the semis.

Monaco beat German club, Borrusia Dortmund, 3-1 on the night to secure a 6-3 aggregate lead having won the first leg 3-2 at the Signa Iduna park.

Both sides join Spanish rivals, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in the next stage.

Real, the defending champions of the competition beat Bayern Munich 6-3 on aggregate while Atletico had the better of English side, Leicester City over two legs.
