The Defence Headquarters have debunked claims that terrorist sect, Boko Haram is holding some territories in Northeast Nigeria.

Defence Spokesman, Brigadier General Rabe Abubakar made the clarification on his official Twitter account on Thursday.

He said those spreading such lies were hired hands who were “beneficiaries of the ongoing crisis”.

2.Though the remnants of BHT may have freedom of movement in some isolated areas in the far NE, it doesn’t mean they hold territories.
