The election tribunal in Jalingo, Taraba state has nullified the election of a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senator, Bashir Marafa, representing Taraba Central Senatorial district.

The tribunal ruling was passed on Wednesday at the resumed hearing.

The tribunal therefore ordered that the candidate of the All progressives Congress (APC), Yusuf A Yusuf to be given the Certificate of Return as the lawful winner of the April 2015 election.
