President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday inaugurated four special advisers and one permanent secretary shortly before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council meeting at the presidential villa, Abuja.
Those inaugurated include the Special Adviser on Social Investment, Maryam Uwais; Special Adviser on Political Matter, Senator Babafemi Ojudu; Special Adviser on Economic Matters, Dr. Adeyemi Dipeolu; Special Adviser on Planning, Tijani Abdullahi; and the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Rafiu Enikanolaye.
Maryam Uwais, Senator Babafemi Ojudu and Dr. Adeyemi Dipeolu were deployed to the Office of the Vice President, while Tijani Abdullahi was deployed in the Ministry of Budget and National Planning.
Those who witnessed the event include Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, most ministers; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal; Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita; some permanent secretaries, presidential aides and other top government officials.
The four special advisers were among the 15 approved for Buhari by the National Assembly last year.
