The nationwide campaign tour of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari, has berthed in the commercial city of Aba in Abia state.
He paid a courtesy visit to the palace of the Enyi of Aba, where he was conferred with the traditional title of Ogbuagu 1 of Aba (The lion killer) by the monarch, who adorned him with coral beads, a traditional attire and a red cap.
Subsequently, Buhari and his entourage walked through some streets in Aba, and visited the popular Ariaria market, where he visited a groundnut seller’s stall to patronize her.
The entourage of the erstwhile head of state was made up of the director-general of his campaign organisation, Gov. Rotimi Amaechi and the national chairman of the APC, John Odigie-Oyegun.
Others were APC national leader, Ogbonnaya Onu, zonal coordinator of the Buhari campaign for the South East, Chris Ngige, and Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha.
Good move by the Ndigbos. 40% votes in South east for Buhari will ensure Rochas Okorocha presidency in 2019
