Burna Boy made an appearance on American talk show Late Night With Seth Meyers yesterday, performing the anthemic Way Too Big off his fifth studio album Twice As Tall released last year, and doing it with familiar self-possession and bombast. Move over heathens, Burna Boy already has 2021 in his grasp.

Accompanied by a diligent live band, Burna Boy wearing a long ivory white puffer jacket stood atop a makeshift pedestal as he embodied the message of the song, all frantic gesticulations and outsize postures. Much thanks to the cameraperson for the generous close-ups.

The performance consolidates on last year’s gains for the artiste, who made Billboard history and scored another Grammy nomination for Twice As Tall in the Best Global Music category. We are holding our breath on that.
