Former head of state General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida on Monday commended the Federal Government on the release of 21 Chibok girls.
In a statement issued by the head of his media office, Mallam Mahmud Abdullahi on his behalf, Babangida said, “It was a thing of joy for the girls to have been reunited with their families after being taken away in such painful and abrupt manner for over two and half years.”
Babangida also commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his commitment to ending insurgency.
