Boko Haram’s chief bomb maker has been killed by a bodyguard of Abubakar Shekau, the leader of the sect.

According to a statement by the Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col Sani Usman, the chief bomb maker was shot dead today May 23.

The unnamed chief bomb maker is said to be ‘one of the sect’s capable hands involved in making Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).’

“The chief bomb maker was killed by one of the body guard of the Boko Haram terrorists leader, Abubakar Shekau as he was about to run away just like several others are doing because of the intensity of Operation CRACKDOWN.”

Meanwhile, a certain Julelebeeb who was appointed to take over as the new chief bomb maker is said to be completely blind ‘because his two eyes were shattered by shrapnel, in the process of preparing an IED to consolidate his appointment’.
