Dana Airlines pilots nationwide have embarked on a strike against the airline leaving passengers stranded.

The pilots are protesting against non-payment of salaries as they haven’t been paid since March, according to reports by TheCable.

Ticket sales, however, are still going on and passengers are even checking in regardless of the fact that the airline said there may be no flights available as there is a “slight delay”.

A “one hour” delay has been announced at the Abuja airport, according a stranded passenger who spoke to TheCable, “The deceit is too much. But you cannot blame Dana. It is the regulatory system that allow such maltreatment of passengers that should bear the blame,” he said.
