Former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro has arrived Nigeria from the United States to present himself to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for N4.75bn arms fund he is currently being tried for.
Obanikoro arrived in Lagos and headed for Abuja to respond to invitation by the anti-graft agency.
The EFCC had discovered that a firm, Sylvan McNamara belonging to two sons of Obanikoro received N4.75bn from the Office of the National Security Adviser between April 4, 2014, and December 15, 2014.
According to Punch, the minister arrived in Lagos at 7:45am and currently on his way to Abuja.
