Former Senate president, David Mark, was on Wednesday, sworn in as a senator representing Benue South constituency, for a record sixth time.
In an uncommon show of respect and solidarity, the Senate gave Mark a standing ovation as he walked into the Senate chamber.
He was inaugurated at exactly 11:00am by Senate president, Bukola Saraki after taking the traditional oath of office and oath of allegiance.
David Mark now comes in and takes the stand to be sworn-in as an elected Senator of Benue South District in the just concluded re – run.
