It appeared they were satisfied with their political parties, but that has now changed.
Defection season is here, folks and the forerunners are Tony Nwoye, from Anambra east and west constituency, and Emmanuel Udende, from Benue state.
The two members of the house of representatives, who were elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The conveyed their decision to leave the party in a letter addressed to Yakubu Dogara, the Speaker of the House on Wednesday.
In the letter, which was read by the speaker on the floor of the house on Wednesday, Nwoye and Udende cited the division of the PDP into three factions as the motivating factor behind their defection.
