The Federal Government has resumed payments of cash stipends to former Niger Delta, Reuters reports.

Piriye Kiyaramo, an officer in the Amnesty Office in Thursday said the payments covered August and September.

“Two months of the ex-militants stipends were paid yesterday (Wednesday)…The rest of their stipends will be paid later in batches by (central bank) CBN,” Kiyaramo said.
