Former, FBI Director James Comey said in a written testimony, that President Trump told him at the White House “I need loyalty, I expect loyalty’’ in their private White House dinner conversation in January.
In written remarks submitted to the Senate Intelligence Committee on Wednesday — on the eve of his much-anticipated testimony — Comey said he remembered nine separate private conversations with President Trump. Three were in person and six on the phone.
When the president made his comments about loyalty at the Jan. 27 dinner, Comey wrote that “I didn’t move, speak, or change my facial expression in any way during the awkward silence that followed. We simply looked at each other in silence. The conversation then moved on, but he returned to the subject near the end of our dinner,’’ Washington Post reports.

Pretty scary stuff. I was looking forward to becoming a grandparent at some time in the future, but now maybe not so much. I’ve usually been a fan of the “less government is better” approach to business but doing so would seem to exacerbate the problem and contribute to the deepening of the divide between the haves and the have-nots. Is a dose of socialism something to consider? I will certainly look into the programs that are mentioned in the article. Also, I agree with the author regarding the usefulness of “learning how to think.” Although I was educated at one of the finer engineering institutions in the U.S., it was a literature class at junior college that really opened my eyes to the power of critical thinking and analysis.
