The Islamic State (ISIS) has accepted the pledge of allegiance made by the Nigerian Islamic terrorist sect, Boko Haram.
The acceptance of Boko Haram’s offer by ISIS was communicated via an audiotape from its spokesman, on Thursday, March 12.
IS spokesman Mohammed al-Adnani reportedly said in the message: “We announce to you to the good news of the expansion of the caliphate to West Africa because the caliphate has accepted the allegiance of our brothers of the Sunni group for preaching and the jihad.”
