Governor of Ekiti, Ayodele Fayose has said Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court is after him for asking the National Judicial Council to sack him.

Fayose described the judge as a “cancer eating the judiciary“.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has rejected the outcome of Saturday’s governorship election in Ondo.

In a statement on Monday, the party also directed its candidate, Eyitayo Jegede to challenge the election at the tribunal.

The General Secretary, National Union of Textile and Garment Workers of Nigeria, Issa Aremu on Monday advised former governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomole to reject the N200 million pension approved for him by the Edo State Assembly.

Aremu advised Oshiomhole not to “join the former governors on unjust pension that is unnecessary and unsustainable in a recession”.
