A video of Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe praising her husband, Lanre Gentry just two months before she accused him of domestic violence and assault has gone viral.

In the interview with Goldmyne TV, the actress praised her husband, stating that he is the most supportive person she has met.

She had described him as a ‘loving’, ‘caring’ man and her ‘support system’.

She said, “My husband understands me a lot, he is my support system. When I am on the verge of giving up, he motivates me. I’m so lucky to have such a man as my partner.”

The actress has filed a suit against her husband for alleged sexual assault and domestic violence.

She has also removed her husband’s name from all her social media accounts.

The actress recently called out her estranged husband for claiming he was sick in order to stay away from court proceedings.
