On Twitter, a cross-trend between Naira Marley and Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, is currently getting everyone to talk. This follows a statement released by Executive Jets Services Limited after the sanction they received from the Federal Government.
Many Nigerians are reacting to the claims by the company that said they had mistaken Naira Marley to be Minister Babatunde Fashola.

As it appears, the duo have similar names which may (or not) pass off as confusing – While the minister is fully known as ‘Babatunde Raji Fashola,’ Naira Marley is fully known as Azeez Fashola. The manifest released by the Jet Company showed clearly that an ‘Azeez Fashola’ was not present on board, but a ‘Babatunde Fashola’ was.

Reacting to the information shared, some people have stressed that Naira Marley could be facing charges for ‘impersonation.’ However, his fans are not having it.

My own is…the guys at execujet saw the name Babatunde Fashola….they looked up at the “useless people” and thought. Yea…that must be the minister and his Aides…the only way it makes sense is that those behind the desk were Marlians and they saw their president 🤣🤣🤣

Some people, however, shared that there is a ploy and both parties are aware of what is going on as they pointed out that both Naira Marley and the Jets services are in on the plans to host the concert which they didn’t know will escalate to this point. These ones called for justice to take its full course on both parties as they urged the government to charge Naira Marley and the Jet service.
