Former minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nasir El Rufai is leading the gubernatorial election held on Saturday in Kaduna state by a wide margin based on results collated from 85 per cent of the polling units across the state.
He is leading the incumbent governor of Kaduna state, Ramalan Yero, by a wide margin in most of the 23 local government areas of the state.
So far, El-Rufai has obtained 725,293 as opposed to Yero’s 242,392, thus leading Mr. Yero by at least 500,000 votes.
We still await the official announcement by INEC.
