‘No work, No pay’ rule will be enforced – FG

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige Wednesday, said that the federal government will enforce the No work, No pay rule.

Speaking with State House correspondents at the end of FEC meeting, he said that the law is still extant, The Nation reports.

Noting that the International Labour Organisation convention is subject to local laws of countries, he said that ILO also specified strict punishment for workers that go on strike, especially bordering on essential services.

Details, as they come in.
