The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Ondo governorship election, Rotimi Akeredolu has been declared of the polls by INEC.

Akeredolu with 244,842 votes defeated close rivals, Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who polled 150,380 votes and Olusola Oke of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) with 126,889 votes.
