A certain Biola Ebila, reported as gang leader of the popular notorious group – One Million Boys, has been killed. The gang leader who was on the wanted list of the Oyo Police command was shot dead around the Olomi area of Ibadan on Sunday, July 12, after resisting attempts to arrest him by officials of Operation Burst, a Joint Security Outfit in the state.
His death has created a fresh trend on social media as many people are expressing what fears they have, following the report of the news.
While many shared that it was good news and a good development that Ebila was killed, others expressed that the aftermath of the actions of the police will be disastrous for the locals in Ibadan.

While others recounted the fearful era where the group terrorised Lagos and it’s surroundings, others, however opined that the activities of these terrorists are often political. They pointed out that with Ebila and his boys, their activities was to undermine the works of the state governor.

Some Twitter users went further to stress that the security of the state would be better now that the gang leader have been killed. They noted that the state government has invested a lot in ensuring the safety of the residents of the state.

It is no doubt that this trend has created some sort of relief for the residents of Ibadan and Nigerians generally. The state government is being beckoned upon not to relax on the feat, urging that they live with the knowledge that the lives and security of Nigerians are important on every level.
