Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife has emerged from seclusion where he was for 21 days, and was presented with the traditional “Ade-Are” crown.
The 51st traditional ruler of Ile Ife was presented with the crown by the custodian of Oke-Ora, at Ile-funfun Opa, located between Ile-Ife and Osu, along Ilesa Road.
Upon his emergence, Oba Ogunwusi visited his family house and Obalufe compound to perform some traditional rites.
The monarch is expected to walk barefooted into the palace through the front gate, which has been closed since the death of the former Ooni, Oba Okunade Sijuwade.
