Iconic professor and world renowned economist, Pat Utomi has on Thursday, February 4 unveiled three books in commemoration of his 60th birthday.
The Center for Values in Leadership had kick-started a week long set of events ranging from Business Plan Competition to Dance, Music, Culture on Sunday, January 31- and is scheduled to come to a close on Sunday, February 7 with a thanksgiving service in honor of the professor.
At the event organised for the presentation of the books, several key figures in the society were present to show their support, respect and admiration for Prof Utomi as he unveiled the books, The Art of Leadership, Why Nations Are Poor and Nigeria’s Political Economy And the Courtship with Poverty.
A review of the Art of Leadership was done by Former Special Adviser to former president Umar Yaardua and Chairman of the editorial board of ThisDay newspaper, Segun Adeniyi.
Professor Ejiogwu also reviewed the book Why Nations Are Poor while Dr. Micheal Okom from the University of Calabar reviewed the compendium of the iconic celebrant, Nigeria’s Political Economy And the Courtship with Poverty.
Chief Rasaq Okoya, Olatunde Ayeni and Dr Uzo Udemba were called on to unveil the books.
