The Minister of State for Education, Professor Anthony Anwukah, has said twenty-first century students, who are technologically-smart would need very smart teachers to teach them.

Anwukah, who stated this at the commissioning of the UNITeS CISCO Internet of Things, IoT, centre at the Federal Science and Technical College, Yaba, Lagos, said teachers need to move along with digital trends in order to upgrade their knowledge.

Anwukah said, “As a teacher, nothing is more challenging than when students question your assumed superior knowledge. This makes it important for teachers to ensure that they update their knowledge through trainings, either self or government sponsored.”
