Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and embattled Senate President, Bukola Saraki reportedly had a private meeting which lasted for almost two hours on October 1.
What was discussed during the meeting remains unknown, as aides of both Osinbajo and Saraki were not allowed into the sit-down.
The meeting was said to have taken place at the Guest House of the vice president, right after the Independence Day anniversary at the Presidential Villa.
The interaction between Osinbajo and Saraki may have to do with the ongoing trial of the latter at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
Saraki has been put on trial before the tribunal on a 13-count charge of false assets declaration and corruption.
