The brutal attack happened on March 27 at the Marathon County jail in Wisconsin but was recently released to a citizens’ panel that was charged with finding ways to make prisons more secure.
Deputy Chad Billeb told Wisconsin Public Radio that he heard inmate chanting about injuring the female guard more, yelling, “Hope she dies.”
A citizens’ panel investigating the attack and looking into ways to better secure the prison facility believes that it could be coordinated.

Christensen, seen unconscious on the floor, was kept in a medically-induced coma for weeks after the accident and may never recover her original “neurological state,” according to doctors.
Doctors say that Christensen faces “months and months” of rehabilitation and even then, it is unclear whether she will ever go back to her “normal neurological state,” according to the medical report from the Asprius Wausau Hospital that was attached to Morris’ criminal complaint.
For weeks after the attack, she was placed in a medically induced coma, the complaint states, for fear of brain swelling.
Morris’ mother, Elnora Henderson, told the Post Crescent that her son battles with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, adding that he may have been off of his medications at the time of the attack.
