Two employees of the Justrite supermarket in Abule Egba were arraigned before the Ijaiye Magistrate Court on Friday for stealing food from the supermarket.
The accused persons are Sarafdeen Ifuwape and Taiwo Falomo.
According to the security chief of the supermarket, Mike Okonta, the two men were caught on CCTV in separate incidents.
He said Sarafdeen stole two gizzards from their freezer and tried to smuggle them out of.the premises.
He also said that Taiwo had falsified a customer’s receipt and tried to use the gain to collect a packet of corn flakes, tins of milk and some other foods.
Both suspects pled not guilty, and the matter was adjourned till 4 September.
