It was the perfect way to end the show. Brazil had longed for an Olympic gold medal in football, the rest of the world was behind them. They needed it not just for the sports but for a country facing crisis, a soccer gold medal would be uplifting and yes, they got it.
Barcelona forward, Neymar played with all his heart as he led his home team to a well-deserved victory beating Germany 5-4 in a penalty shoot out.
