Workplace harassment or you can call it office abuse is not an issue that started today. It is almost unseen and the executive leaders (managers) are almost reluctant or unconscious about it.
It can be loosely categorised into emotional and physical abuse. All of these forms of workplace harassment target various groups, including women, racial minorities, homosexuals, people with disabilities and immigrants.
Recently, a movement began on twitter – #Metoo – where both men and women got the opportunity to talk about their experiences either at home, office or anywhere else.
In this thread, Aishetu Fatima thinks the “Nigerian Factor” would not allow such movement to thrive as the victims who open up would now be targeted, besides, many of them “won’t even see the act as harassment“.

Could it still be harassment if they were willing?
