Every day on the Nigerian internet, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social matters, etc. Sometimes, they are just downright ridiculous. We make it our job to take down the names of these noisemakers.
Here’s our list from today:
1. Nasir El-Rufai
Dear Mr Kefas: This irresponsible and defamatory statement will require a response. So I hope when you receive from court summons, you will be able to prove your defamation? We are tracing your address for service of court processes. Help the processes by providing it early. https://t.co/gFzP4Z3X6b

Many think the apparent anonymity of social media gives them latitude to be savages – to comment irresponsibly, engage in hate speech, be defamatory of others’ reputations and sometimes even treasonable. There are legal consequences and you are not as anonymous as you think. https://t.co/i3aX23ATEd

Even though he has been in the same shoes criticising and saying ‘defamatory’ things against former President Goodluck…
Guess he can’t take the heat.
2. Afolabi Omotayo
Some apolitical citizens might not like this one.

How about that as a strategy to get people to vote out bad and recycled leaders? *dodges stone*
3. Favour Onyeoziri
Turns out that one also needs a certain level of shamelessness to make it in life

This sounds confusing.
4. Eketi
Go and marry.
Only one child? Have three.
Send them to private schools.
Register them for 100 extracurricular programs.
Hasn't left for Uni at 15 years?
And so on and so forth…
Society's demands never end. Don't pressure yourself. Don't let anyone pressure you.

All has been said.
5. Joe Abah
You’ve been threatening: “I will do this with my vote in 2019. I will do that with my vote in 2019.”
I have 2 questions for you:
1. Do you have your PVC in your hand today?
2. Will you stand in a queue in the sun for hours to cast your vote?Tell the truth and shame the devil.

6. Shehu Sani
We are in a cloudy authoritarian political atmosphere where ‘democrats and progressives’ holding levers of power equate dissent to disloyalty and critics are categorized as enemies of the state or Government.

7. Kolo Kenneth
Meanwhile in the South African Parliament…
Hon. Madisha: Half of the people in this parliament are stupid!!!
Speaker: Withdraw that statement Hon. Madisha.
Hon. Madisha: I withdraw that statement. Half of the people in this parliament are not stupid.
??????????
