Toyin Abraham has released the official trailer of her upcoming sequel, “Alakada! Bad & Boujee”, giving the fans a glimpse of what to expect in the movie.
“Alakada! Bad & Boujee” is the fifth film in the “Alakada” franchise, and it tells the story of a young woman with an inferiority complex who creates an alternate version of herself where she boasts of a life of wealth with an elevated social status.
The film stars Chimezie Imo, Bimbo Ademoye, Odunlade Adekola, Olumide Oworu, Ini Edo, Kiekie, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, Ronke Odusanya, Bimbo Akintola, Lizzy Jay, Kolawole Ajeyemi, Yhemo Lee, and Portable.
The first film in the Alakada franchise was released in 2009, followed by ‘Alakada 2’ in 2013; the third sequel was ‘Alakada Reloaded’ released in 2017, and the fourth, ‘Alakada: The Party Planner’ was released in 2020.
“Alakada! Bad & Boujee” will be released in cinemas across Nigeria on December 20.
