Asake and father reunite after father calls him out for abandonment

A man identified as Fatai Odunsi, who claimed to be Asake, the Nigerian singer’s father, accused his son of deserting him after hitting stardom.
Fatai Odunsi’s video became viral when he clamoured for help from Nigerians, stating that his son, Asake, had abandoned him and he needed financial assistance to treat his commitment illness.
With so many think pieces being thrown around Asake’s upbringing, neglecting his daughter and father, the singer revealed that he was performing his filial duties and would continue them.
Shortly after, Odunsi released another video saying that he and Asake had settled their dispute as the singer promised to help care for him and his finances.

A Youth Corps member took to social media to lament how the economy has worsened under the Tinubu regime; crying on TikTok, she claimed she could no longer afford the life she once had.
The video trended on social media, leading the LGI of her local government to call and threaten her, demanding that she take down the video as it was a stain on the President and the nation.

Nigerian fashion designer sets Guinness World Record for longest hand-sewing marathon

Oluwaseun Kuforiju, a Nigerian fashion designer, set the record for the longest hand-sewing marathon, the Guinness World Record, with 160 hours.
Kuforiji began his “sew-a-thon” journey from January 22 to 26, hand-sewing a total of 22 items for 106 hours and 55 minutes.
The event occurred in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, breaking the record that other Nigerians attempted to break.
