7 reasons you should register for TFESS Graphics Design training

The Future Project in collaboration with design agency, FourthCanvas have put together a rich-in-content training on Graphics Design and you are just about to miss out (or that friend or cousin you have not told about it).

The doors will close by the end of tomorrow Friday and if only for these six (7) reasons, you should not miss it.

  1. SKILL FOR THE NEW AGE

Digital media is fast-becoming the main-stay of expression by brands and with the increasing relevance of social media and internet to how we work and live, having the skill and understanding of graphics design is more critical than you may assume. The graphics design industry ‘suffers’ from a demand surplus and needs more folks to deliver awesome projects for several brands-in-need, who are fast facing the reality of the importance of visuals now and in the years to come. With the increasing rate of unemployment, acquiring a skill that’s in demand increases your chances both at employment and in business.

  1. CROP OF FACILITATORS

Closely following the importance of acquiring this as a skill for the new age, another major reason this is not a training to be missed is the crop of top designers who will be available to take the classes.

There is James Abinibi, largely referred to in some quarters as the most renowned in the visual creative industry, and a list of other top-rated creative gurus like famous design maestro, Uche Ugo; Daniel Emeka (organizer of Blank White Sheet Conference); Evans Akanno, Creative Director at Cregital; Steve Dubs of SA Dubs; Tobi Adesina, Senior Designer at Alder Consulting and Victor Fatanmi, Art Director at FourthCanvas, co-organiser of the training.

  1. POST-TRAINING MENTORSHIP/INTERNSHIP

The training would create opportunities for participants to get mentored and work (as they develop) under the tutelage of some of our facilitators.

This goes a long way in developing your skill and building your experience as a graphic designer. Co-organiser, FourthCanvas plans to select a number of the designers at the training for a 3-month partly-virtual internship program with the agency.

  1. RESOURCES, BOOKS AND LINKS

Hugely resourceful materials will be shared at the training and this would be pivotal towards strengthening the lessons to be learnt from the different classes.

Over the years, our facilitators have come across a lot and they would not mind to share with you.

  1. DESIGN NETWORK EXPANSION

The workshop makes a good opportunity for you to relate with like-minds and share ideas with other creatives. This goes a long way in building your network as a graphic designer.

  1. DESIGN EXPOSURE AND EXPERIENCE

You get to broaden your horizon at the workshop as you gain new insights and ideas from the masters. You will able to garner experience from a wide range of facilitators who have executed a lot in their life time.

  1. TRAINING MODE

The approach is real-time. The facilitators are top designers who are still very much active and on top of their game.

This makes this less of some text-book academic styled training. You will be able to ask them specific questions and they will share their experience with you.

You have 24hours to go, if you must be a part of this. Share this on your social media timelines, or directly with someone. They will certainly thank you later.
