The Chelsea neigbourhood of New York service was on Saturday rocked by a bomb explosion at a dumpster.

The explosion which injured 29 people is believed to have been caused by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said the explosion was not terror linked.

“There is no evidence at this point of a terror connection. There is no specific and credible threat against New York City at this point in time from any terror organization.”
