Nigerian filmmaker Afolabi Olalekan is set to premiere his directorial debut film “Freedom Way” at the 2024 Toronto International Film (TIFF).
“Freedom Way” is directed by Afolabi Olalekan, written by Blessing Uzzi and stars Mike Afolarin, Akin Lewis, Debo Adebayo, Femi Jacobs, Meg Otanwa, and more.
The film focuses on the obstacles faced by a start-up forced to navigate through a hostile environment and police harassment. The “Freedom Way” sees nine characters try to make the most out of life despite their worlds colliding.
