The governor of Anambra, Willie Obiano says he is confident of winning the ongoing governorship election by a landslide.

Obiano, the candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in the election, said this on Saturday after casting his vote.

“I am very confident that at the end of the day, I will carry the day. I will win this election by a landslide.”

“Though my card was verified, they said they couldn’t read my fingerprints, but I was able to vote because my voter’s card was verified by the device”.

“I’m happy with the turnout and I’m sure I will win by a landslide,” he added.
