Senator Ben Murray-Bruce says the proposed ban on the use of Nigerian ATM cards abroad, will adversely affect average Nigerians, who have come to depend on it for various modes of foreign transactions.
Murray-Bruce, advised the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Federal Government that ‘politically exposed people’ like himself should be stopped from using ATMs abroad, not regular folks who need it to get bye.
The Senator representing Bayelsa East constituency said Nigerian students schooling abroad, bloggers and owners of small scale businesses will be negatively impacted by the ban, if it becomes a reality.
