Boko Haram: How 3 child bombers, 6 others were killed in Borno bombing

A child bomber has killed himself, two other bombers and six people in Beninsheikh, Borno state.

The army revealed on Monday, December 21, that Islamic terrorist sect, Boko Haram is responsible for the attack.

The attack was said to have taken place around 8.30 pm on Sunday when three suspected suicide bombers aged between 10 and 15 years, were stopped for security screening by civilian vigilantes in the area.

According to  Colonel Sani Usman, one of the child bombers detonated his explosives while being screened.

The detonation caused the “death of nine people while 24 others sustained various degrees of injuries.”

“The security and emergency management agents have mobilised to the scene. The bodies have been evacuated and all those injured are receiving medical attention,” he said.
