Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington commits suicide

Chester Bennington, frontman of popular rock band Linkin Park, has died at the age of 41.

Chester was reported to have hanged himself in a private resident in Los Angeles and his body was found by a staff at about 9am on Thursday, TMZ reports.

His death occurred on the same day his band released a new music video “Talking to myself”.

Chester had freely discussed his addiction to drugs and alcohol. He is survived by six children from two marriages.

Celebrities have reacted to the news of Chester’s death expressing how much of a loss it is to music.

Jimmy Kimmel tweeted: “Chester was one of the kindest men I’ve had on my show. My heart breaks for his family and friends. He will be missed terribly.”

One Republic in their message said, “Chester had 6 kids. If anyone out there thinks the world is better without you. You are so unspeakably wrong on every level. Get help plz.”

It’s a baby girl for Naturi Naughton

You probably know her as Tasha from the hit TV series, Power but the actress has welcomed a baby girl with her boyfriend.

Naturi said in a statement, “This is the best experience of my life! Myself and Benjamin are so honored and happy to welcome this beautiful girl into the world!”

Naturi was a member of former all-girl group, 3LW.
