“One Dance” is the most streamed song on Spotify – EVER!

Music streaming app, Spotify has announced that Drake’s hit song One Dance that features Wizkid and Kyla is its most streamed song in its history with 880 million plays.

Last year, Major Lazer, DJ Snake and Mo’s collabo track, Lean On, held that spot with 526 million streams.

The Spotify music platform is not available in Nigerians, so here we are doing the maths and wondering what the aggregate number of streams would have been if Nigerians got to stream the song on the app.

Lynxxx reveals official cover for new album

Rapper and singer, Lynxxx has revealed the official cover art for his second album, The Album Before The Album, set to be released on 26th October.

The Syndik8 records artiste recently made a comeback to the Nigerian music scene after a 3-year hiatus and with a new identity, one that was given to promoting love and not sex and making more inspiring music.

One of the tracks off this sophomore album, Serve You was released months ago and got impressive radio play.

His debut album, This is Lynxxx was released in 2010.

It’s a baby boy for Kerry Washington

Actress, Kerry Washington (popular for her role as Olivia Pope in ABC’s TV series, Scandal) has welcomed her second child with her Nigerian husband, Nnamdi Asomugha.

The baby boy who has been named Caleb Kelechi Asomugha reportedly arrived on October 5, according to E! News.

The 39 year old actress married Nnamdi, a former American football cornerback in June 2013 and they have a two year old daughter, Isabella Amarachi Asomugha.
